This beautiful 8.5” diameter fruit compote is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. It is hand painted showing a large pear with some cherries and strawberries in the centre with a burgundy border. The base, rim and handles are gilded that show slight signs of rubbing as are normal with a piece of this age. It was made for the American market and has the burgandy wreath back stamp. |
