This Noritake plate is called an 8 sided plate as it has 8 curves round the edge rather than being circular. It has twin handles on either side in gold gilding that continues round the edge of the plate. The centre is hand painted in the well-known lovely lake with a swan scene. It is 1.75” high and measures 10” from handle to handle. The condition is good with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is minimal rubbing to the gilding and has a few minor pin pricks on the design of the plate that are only seen under close inspection. It was made for the American market and has the green wreath back stamp. |
